Author Bio

Elizabeth Devecchi spent much of her youth in Rhode Island, setting out after high school to gather degrees and experiences while jumping from state to state and country to country. She currently holds an undergraduate degree in French from Wittenberg University, pursued in part at the Université Paul-Valéry in Montpelier, France, a Law Degree from the Università di Torino, Italy, and an L.LM in International Law, from The University of Iowa College of Law. She has also completed a 40 hour training course in the theory and practice of Mediation.

 

Elizabeth, who authors the hobby blog themoonthesunandlittleman.com, enjoys writing in a variety of genres and styles. Her digital presence includes a piece in Passager Journal’s Pandemic Diaries; a short story, “The Hunt,” published in the December 2021 issue of Ariel Chart; and an essay, “A Moment in My Head,” featured in Run Amok Book’s author blog, The Growlery. Her debut in print was through her poem, “Oh, Brother,” which appears in Black Spot Books’s UNDER HER EYE, nestled among the works of talented Women in Horror in a powerful showcase published in collaboration with The Pixel Project. Her debut horror novel, SEWER DOGS, is set for release by Wicked House Publishing in October of 2024. This will be followed closely by her debut suspense novel, A TWIST OF THE LENS, slated to be published in the first half 2025. Later in 2025, her story, “Open House,” will be released by Running Wild Press in an anthology of short stories. 

 

Elizabeth is a member of the HWA, SCBWI, and RMFW, and currently resides in Colorado with her family.
